What can I do to stop foreclosure on my home. I’m a couple months behind, and the taxes are due. We made a payment arrangement but now the company just wants their money.
I’m making very little money with my three part time jobs, my ex-boyfriend and I are separating and I have two children. Are there any ways I can salvage this house or just let it go.

A Stop Foreclosure company is likley legitimate and willing to assist me. But they want to negotiate a”modification” and other terms for bringing me current. Do I win by increasing an already unaffordable payment by adding principal and back interest to a loan I am upside down on? (The value of the home is 0,000 below the loan balance),

Question by loveystar1: Is there a loan company out there anywhere that refinances under 500 credit score to stop foreclosure?
I am in need of refinancing our home. We are currently almost 2 months behind on our mortgages. We stopped the foreclosure in October but are headed that way again if we don’t find a way to refinance. When we stopped the foreclosure in October we thought it was paying for Novembers payment too but it wasn’t so we were behind a month again right off the bat. We have a first and second mortgage we want to consolidate them. We also have an adjustable rate mortgage that is killing our finances. We filed bankruptcy almost 7 years ago. This is my dream home and don’t plan on leaving it until I go in a box in the ground. If anyone knows anything that would help I would be very greatful.

Yes, there are people who do that, but your rate will be 14% or way more.

Question by sammus: Can I get a refinanced mortgage if i start a home business with no employees and still work my regular job?
I want to refinance my mortgage and I want to start a home business before doing so. It would have no employees and I would still keep my current job. My home business will not require any due balances or credit lines to increase my debt. Would mortgage companies see the worry that I would quit my regular job or would they trust that I would maturely handle the mortgage payments? In other words, would I have no problems getting refinanced under these conditions. My credit score is about 650 and I’ve been at my current job for 1 1/2 years but have had steady employment for a long time. I have also paid my mortgage on time for 12 months.
The reason I am asking is because what I will be doing requires a vendor license. Therefore, in my ssn, it would show the business based at my home address.
I am actually looking for a new mortgage loan, not a home equity loan or personal loan and I don’t need to borrow to pay debts.

Question by echo1181: What is the interest rate for high credit scores and the differences in rates?
If one is prime rate. Credit score above 780. Are the final interest rates they quote you lower than what is advertise on their website? I am considering using a mortgage broker however their rates seem higher than the bank + the cost seems higher. If the rate is what they advertise, I might just go to the bank directly first and save my time. The mortgage broker seems to be on top of things and most likely have better info on closing etc. which is their only selling point but if the interest rate is higher than the competitor I am reluctant to go with it since they will hit my credit score if I apply. Simply put money is money a little .25% can equal 60K over the life of the loan. Something that could sit in investment generating returns for me.

In general what is the difference in the interest rate for prime/ A credit scores? Are the advertised rates using prime rates or just average rates?

you can shop around, the prime rate is the rate of interest that the federal reserve dictates to fdic insured banks, the banks mark that up and compete within that realm. You have a good credit score so you should be able to get an interest rate that is a couple point over prime. Usually what is advertised is their lowest rate for someone with a near perfect credit score.
